Is this racist?



Not a new commercial, but still worth an examination. What are your thoughts?

Is racist too harsh a word for this commercial? Does it rely on prejudice? Is it dependent on stereotypes?

I could talk about this commercial for numerous reasons. For now, I'll focus on the stereotype that white people can't dance unless (or even if) under the influence of beer.

Moreover, to answer your question about these commercials, I would say it is insensitive and treading racist waters. Most of the red stripe commercials are cutting it close.
